We are a group of random people ranging in age from about 5 to 35. We meet every Saturday around 1:00 to beat each other with padded sticks. The group has been meeting since Dec. 27th 1999, although it started in my front yard. At first we met very sporadically. I used to take the weapons, sit under a tree at the park, and wait for someone I knew to walk by. We started meeting regularly on Saturdays during the summer. We became very popular with tourists. The first group of us consisted of 5 or 6 people. Since then we have lost a few members, but gained many more. The only members that were there from the beginning that still fight are myself (Heather) and Allegra.
